Colin Matthews works with Law Firms, Insurance Companies and Rehabilitation Companies to provide medico-legal reports and therapy for their clients. He is listed in the British Psychological Society's directory of expert witnesses.

Expert evidence is provided for the following areas:

• Personal Injury Claims (e.g. Road traffic accidents, Accidents at work)

A psychological assessment can be useful in determining the impact of a personal injury including any signs of post-traumatic stress, depression and adjustment issues such as living with chronic pain or coping with disfigurement or loss of limb. Our assessments will include a full report on the circumstances and psychological impact of the event leading to injury and include recommendations for treatment.

• Psychological Functioning (including psychological disorders and intellectual capacity)

• Risk Assessment (including harm to self and others)

For assessments, Colin will provide an appointment within 5 working days of being contacted and a report will follow within 10 working days from the last assessment appointment. Colin also provides treatment within NICE guidelines using evidence-based therapies such as CBT.
