You can be assured that, when you refer a patient to Colin Matthews for private treatment, you and the patient will get expert service from a highly qualified professional.

Colin has extensive experience in the NHS working with children, families and individuals. He assesses and provides therapy for people with simple phobias through to those diagnosed with complex mental health problems including schizophrenia and borderline personality disorder.

Colin will provide diagnosis and formulation and can work with a variety of evidence-based therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), in accordance with NICE guidelines.

Colin is a registered practitioner with the major healthcare insurance providers. Some of your patients may be eligible for therapy under their healthcare scheme. Generally, a referral letter from a healthcare professional such as a GP or psychiatrist would be taken as indicative of a need for therapeutic input by a healthcare provider, such that some, if not most, of the costs of any therapy would be met by the provider. Your patients should check the requirements of their particular scheme.
